GitHub to use user data for AI training, Copilot users affected.

GitHub updated its data usage policy for AI-powered coding assistance. From April 24, interaction data from Copilot Free, Pro, and Pro+ users may train GitHub’s models. This will happen unless users actively opt out of the new terms. Copilot Business and Enterprise users are exempt from this change. Users who previously opted out retain their privacy preferences. No further action is required from them. If users choose to participate, GitHub may utilize their data.
